PASS IT ON SPORTS of Southington will close their doors after almost 20 years serving the area of great deals in recreational gear for the whole family. Shirley Bloethe’s passion has always been to “pass on” a good deal, and while the ride has been FUN, she say’s “it is time to move into other arena’s”. Bloethe is SAYING GOODBYE to one venture, and HELLO to new endeavors….
The wellness center concept has been brewing from quite some time at Jitters Coffeehouse/ Tea House located in the same building. Mother Nature’s Shangri-La Day Spa will also be opening in the building in the near future. The Qivana and MetaboliQ product line will be available, as well as more organic, natural, and wellness items to come. The kayaks, canoes, and boats will still be rented and sold on the CT river in South Glastonbury. Many things are still happening in/out of the building and will continue to…..
The trend toward holistic, organic & natural foods and services will become more evident daily at 1273 Queen Street. Bloethe say’s “While it has been a pleasure to serve the public with new and used sports and fitness gear, I hope people will continue to stop by and see my new dreams develop, hopefully to grow and meet your needs in the next 20 years”.
The store will formally close on June 30th.
A celebration party will be held July 1 from 5-8pm with complimentary refreshments, fireworks and fun for the public. The public is invited to this free event.
